Huntsman Harness – Size Guide
A well-fitted harness keeps your dog comfortable, secure, and ready for wherever the day takes you.
Step 1: Measure Your Dog
Chest Girth
Measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape snug, not tight.
Neck Girth
Measure around the base of the neck where the collar naturally sits. You should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog.
Step 2: Choose Your Size
Use your measurements alongside the size chart image to find the best fit.
Breed Guide (approximate):
Small – Jack Russell, Dachshund, Corgi
Medium – Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Springer Spaniel
Large – Border Collie, Pointer
Breed guides are a starting point only — measurements are always most accurate.
Step 3: Check the Fit
Once fitted, make sure:
The harness sits snug without restricting movement
You can fit two fingers under all straps
The chest panel sits comfortably without digging in
Straps aren’t rubbing behind the front legs
The back length sits neatly without extending too far
Fit Tips
If your dog is between sizes, size up for comfort
Always prioritise chest girth when choosing a size
Adjust all straps evenly for a balanced fit
Recheck fit over time, especially for growing dogs or seasonal weight changes
If the harness isn’t fitted correctly, adjustable sliders may loosen during wear — simply readjust and refit to your dog for a secure fit
Built for gravel roads, paddocks, and everyday wear.
